The role of BYDI ‘s printing pre-treatment solution in wool fabric printing1.0

As a kind of high-grade natural fiber, wool is favored by consumers because of its unique warmth, comfort and excellent performance. Zhejiang Boyin Digital Technology Co., LTD., with its deep technical accumulation and rich practical experience in the field of digital printing, has successfully developed and developed a mature and efficient printing process for wool fiber whose surface has the characteristics of scale structure, oil content and high hydrophilicity. Among them, the key role is: the BYDI‘s pre-treatment liquid of Boyin Digital original factory, which plays the following roles in the specific printing process:

Remove grease and impurities: Wool naturally contains a certain amount of grease and other impurities, which will affect the combination of ink and fiber, reducing the color fastness. The  BYDI’s pre-treatment liquid can effectively remove the grease and impurities on the surface of the fiber, improve the adhesion of the ink on the fiber, and ensure that the printing color is bright and lasting.
  •       Adjusting fiber surface properties:
The BYDI’s pre-treatment solution can adjust the wet-ability and ink absorption of the surface of the wool fiber, so that the ink can be evenly distributed during the printing process to avoid color differences or spots.

Improve fabric ink absorption: untreated wool fabrics usually have poor ink absorption, which can lead to uneven ink distribution and insufficient penetration. The BYDI’s pre-treatment liquid can moderately open the gap between the fibers, increase the porosity of the fabric, improve its absorption of the ink, and make the printing pattern fuller and the color more vivid.

Enhance the ink affinity of the fabric: the ratio of the BYDI’s pre-treatment liquid can change the polarity of the surface of the wool fabric or introduce specific functional groups to make it easier to accept and combine the dyes or pigments in the ink. This helps to improve the fixation rate of the ink on the fiber, reduce the phenomenon of "flying ink" in the printing process, and ensure the integrity and continuity of the printing pattern.
